I had the great fortune of listening to you at the San Antonio AAID meeting. What I heard Dr. Vassos was something that touched me. Your presentation was like a breath of fresh air coming through those clogged up ducts of big ego & big $ presentations. Your presentation was sincere with incredible insight in what is important in the game of human interaction and most of all, it came straight from the heart of a truly amazing implant surgeon. Of all the presentations on implant dentistry over the past 11 - 12 years I have listened to, yours touched me and my staff the most.
I have a fairly decent grasp of what implant dentistry is about, yet I still felt so far that I was not ready to do this on my own and I know that you can help me get there, as I felt very comfortable about the way you presented this material.

Two years ago I decided to learn to place dental implants. After 25 years in practice, I wanted to provide this leading edge service to my clients.

I just wanted to thank you for offering the Mentorship Program that I am my staff recently attended.
Without question, this experience(as apposed to a continuing education course) was beyond measure. The actual physical involvement which we participated in was something that supersedes any course one could take. Being able to actually place implants on your own patients, while under the supervision of yourself and Dr. Diener was immeasurably educational. In addition, being able to view the other participants perform surgery in such a technologically advanced surgery and observation room was again, without equal. I doubt that there are any other facilities that allow such a close up and personal view of implant placement.
In addition, Dr. Vassos, you are probably the foremost authority and most experienced individual in the field in Canada. I especially appreciate the surgery techniques we were shown and we performed, as I believe that these techniques are both clinically efficient and patient comfortable. Your success rates, which now become my success rates, are what we strive for in the practice of dentistry.
I would most full heartedly recommend any dentist to participate with Dr. Vassos in the Mentorship Program. There are very few dentists who actually let you work in such an environment as this. Too many others simply put their ‘best cases’ up on the screen.
Dr. Vassos not only demonstrates, but has YOU DO THE WORK YOURSELF, with his direct supervision. This is the ONLY way to learn implantology !
